    Yes, I have brought some tasty and nutritious toddler lunch ideas with rice today. Your youngster will love them and devour them with pleasure.

    This approach develops healthy eating habits in children & teaches them a lifelong love for nutritious and fresh food, which is very beneficial for toddlers.

    Easy and Quick Toddler Lunch Ideas With Rice:

    You can make a perfect meal for your kids with the help of these lunch ideas!

    It is very easy to prepare these recipes in the morning and pack them in your kids’ lunch boxes or tiffins.

    My toddler also likes these recipes, and I make different dishes for him daily. So let’s explore it!

    Veggie rice bowl:

    A fantastic approach to feeding kids nutritious food is vegetable-rich veggie rice! Even kids hesitant to eat veggies can be fed nutritious and healthy cuisine with Veggie Rice.

    I also use a variety of vegetables to make tasty veggie rice for my toddler’s lunch.  

    Vegetables greatly aid children’s development and growth. They give them the vital vitamins, minerals, and nutrition they need to stay healthy and have vitality.

    I love to share here the recipe for veggie rice with you and believe me it is incredible and my kid enjoys it.

    Instructions:

    • Rinse the rice and soak it in water for 15 to 20 minutes. 
    • Boil the rice. 
    • In a separate vessel, chop one small onion, 2-3 red pepper powder, one carrot, one cup of frozen or fresh peas, one teaspoon of cumin, one teaspoon of turmeric powder, and salt to taste.
    • Now, mix both rice and veggies. 

    This veggie rice bowl is sure to please your kids!

    Egg-fried rice:

    Egg-fried rice is another excellent lunchtime suggestion. It is made with rice, eggs, soy sauce, and green onions. It is a tasty and simple meal.

    Protein, carbs, and fiber are all in the proper proportions, which is crucial for children’s health and vitality.  

    This recipe is an excellent choice for a school lunchbox because it is effortless and quick to prepare.

    Ingredients:

    • 2 Cup Rice (Cooked)
    • 2 Eggs
    • 1 Tablespoon Oil
    • 1 Small Onion (Chopped)
    • 2-3 Red Peppers (Chopped)
    • 1 Teaspoon Soy Sauce
    • 1 Teaspoon Green Onion (Chopped)
    • Salt to taste
    • Optional: Vegetables (Carrot, Capsicum, Peas), Other Spices (Cumin, Turmeric Powder) 

    Instructions:

    1. Remove the cooked rice from the vessel first, 
    2. Then add the eggs to a pan with hot oil and fry.
    3. Add the onions, green onions, and chilies, and bake. 
    4. Add the soy sauce, salt, and masala and stir. Bake for two to three minutes.

    Rice and veggie nuggets:

    Rice and veggie nuggets are my favorite lunchtime foods, and both my kids and I love them. 

    Using this recipe, you can make a tasty and nutrient-dense lunch for your kids that they will like.

    You can make it even more fun by adding your kids’ favorite vegetables, like carrots, peas, or peas, which are healthy and tasty options for kids.

    Vegetable nuggets are a delicious and nutritious option for kids. They contain a good amount of vegetables and are made from whole grains. 

    They have a texture similar to chicken nuggets and are easy for toddlers to eat, especially when dipped in a favorite dipping sauce like ketchup or ranch.

    Ingredients:

    • Broccoli and Cauliflower (Here, either pre-cut florets or cut florets from the head will work.
    • Carrot (Grind it)
    • Garlic (Substitute, but delicious)
    • Cooked Rice (Jasmine or Brown Rice)
    • Whole Wheat Breadcrumbs
    • Grated Cheese (Cheddar)
    • Egg
    • Cumin
    • Salt (Substitute)

    Instructions:

    1. Heat the oven. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
    2. Put garlic and vegetables in the processor and grind well. 
    3. Add the remaining ingredients and make a uniform batter. 
    4. Make it an oval shape, roll it in breadcrumbs and place it on a baking sheet. Bake and serve hot.

    Cheesy Rice Balls:

    A popular and delicious lunch or light meal made with rice. It is a simple and portable dish that is liked by all. 

    Using adorable molds can make rice balls even more appealing to kids.

    Usually, a sheet of nori (seaweed) is put on it which adds a slight flavor to it and makes it easy to eat. This is a good and nutritious lunch meal for children.

    The classic filling is often simple, such as pickled plum or salted salmon, but over time creative variations have also come, such as tuna, teriyaki chicken, and vegetarian options such as grilled vegetables.

    Vegetables, proteins, and a range of fillings can be used to make rice balls, allowing kids to try different tastes and sensations. This is a great way to use up leftover rice. 

    Children starting to self-feed can safely eat rice balls because they are soft and easy to chew. 

    Cheesy Rice balls are nutritious because they are high in vitamins, carbs, and other vital minerals.

    Rice balls are a healthy and wholesome snack for kids because of their tiny size and adaptability.

    Ingredients:

    • 2 cups cooked rice 
    • A half cup of water 
    • Half a teaspoon of salt 
    • Fillings (optional): any vegetables you prefer, such as mushrooms, cauliflower, carrots, or Shimla mirch. 
    • Cheese, proteins, etc. 
    • Seaweed (nori) sheets (optional)

    Instructions:

    1. Transfer cooked rice to a big vessel once it has cooled.
    2. Mix thoroughly after adding the salt and water.
    3. To make the rice mushy and sticky, keep mixing while gradually adding water.
    4. If using rice, combine the fillings with it.
    5. Form the rice into tiny spheres.
    6. If using, wrap the nori sheets around the rice balls.

    Present the rice balls and savor them!
